Grab your shoes my fellow Cinderellas! It's time for PROM!!

P r o m !

Alright ladies and gents, it is finally time for Prom! The pinnacle of every girl's high school experience.
There are so many dresses and shoes to choose from, in any color and any size. However, make sure that you pick the dress that you want.
Okay. so first is the dress! Here is my top four things to think about when buying your dress:
1. Price!: Imagine yourself walking through the store, suddenly you spot the most amazing dress you have ever seen and you think PERFECT! MUST HAVE!!!
So you sprint across the store, grab it, and dash into a dressing room. Good news you look GREAT!! Finally you decide that you should probably check the price tag, and... HOLY BATMAN, IT COSTS MORE THAN ANY MONEY YOU HAVE EVER POSSESSED.
However, don't worry. Not all dresses are the most expensive things ever. There are plenty of ways that you can get a dress within a reasonable budget.

Hey guys! It's Story Time with Courtyy! So finding a cheap, pretty dress is not completely impossible.  Every dance of my high school career, (so four homecomings and two proms), i have not spent over $20 on a dress.  Thrift stores are where it's at! If you think this is all "EWWW GROSS," then there is always the option of clearance racks! The next few weeks after prom, stores everywhere just have SALES, SALES, AND MORE SALES on pretty dresses.  But the good thing about getting a cheap dress is that  you can afford alterations, or just have your lovely friend do them for you!! here is this years find for a whopping FIVE DOLLARS!!
<THE ALTERATIONS:
THE BACK OF THE DRESS WAS A BIT TO BIG FOR COURTY, SO TO FIX IT, I PUT A DART WITH HAND STITCHING ON EITHER SIDE OF THE ZIPPER. AND TOOK OUT THE EXISTING STRING FOR THE CORSET BACK AND REPLACED IT WITH THICK RIBBON FOR A MORE CINDERELLA LOOK. ONE OTHER THING THAT I DID TO THE DRESS WAS SHORTEN THE HEM IN THE FRONT TO GIVE A SWEEPING LOOK AND TO ALLOW FOR COURTY'S HEIGHT AND CONVERSE.

2. THE LOOK.Your prom dress should be everything you want it to be, and you should NEVER settle for just any dress. There are so many colors shapes and sizes to choose from, but make sure to keep it classy.

3. ACCESSORIZING!:
When accessorizing, make sure to match your dress. If silver accents are on your dress, AT ALL COSTS, DO NOT WEAR GOLD ACCESSORIES. On my dress, there are a bunch of differently shaped rhinestones. There are many different geometric shapes and sizes, therefore when picking out my accessories, I made sure to find something similar. TAKE NOTE TO HOW ALL THE ACCESSORIES CHOSEN FOR MY DRESS ARE SILVER WITH ALL DIFFERENT TYPES OF SHAPES.

4. SHOES!
OH. EM. GEE. shoes. ok so, the shoes all depend on what you are comfortable with.  Last year, i opted for red high heels to match my Black and white dress. I loved my shoes, dont get me wrong, but i just wanted to take them off at the dance.  it was also nice because i did not need to take any length off of my dress either.  But this year, i chose to go with a pair of pink converses to match my pink dress. This is all in your own preference. Taylor opted for a more formal look, where as, i went casual.  One thing these both had in common though, they matched our dresses! even though no one else will be able to see our shoes, we will know they are there, and ultimately.  Feel like a princess(:

Alright guys, we are in the midst of finalizing all of our prom plans, and all that jazz so we will talk to you guys later!! we hope you guys have a a wonderful and safe prom night!!(:(:(:(:(:

Life..

Hey guys!
Im sorry I have not been posting often, but its been hectic! Work, F.A.S.T (Families and Schools Together) Program, and Homework.  Its just like do I have a life anymore? Am I still alive? I feel lie a zombie walking around school every day.  Instead of craving brains im craving sleep.

My final project for English is like over running my life and im just like
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! GRRRRRRRR!! ARGGGGGGH!! UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! CHOCOLATEEEEEE! FOOOOOD!

So yeah, it's not been too terribly pretty in this house hold!  I was going to upload a tutorial about making aprons out of shirts (Incredibly cute and simply btw), but I am NOT technologically savvy to do that.  I can't figure out how to upload pictures.

So yes, I hope you all are well! We've got a new twitter page for our blog.  Its
@wayfaringloui and our username is The Twisted Sisters
Check it out!!

Well since I need to finish getting ready for school, I probably should do.  My favorite song is on so I just want to sit here and sing it and wake up the whole house with my catterwalling.  But I fell like that's not a very good idea.  You should listen to it sometime!!
It's Night Owl by Little Big Town!

Well, I better go! After While Crocodiles!

Lunch Time with Courty and Loui!

Buongiorno!

Okay so Courty and I decided that we would give a review this week of a local café that we had the pleasure of enjoying a lunch at this past week.

The café's name is Madison's Café
and it is located in downtown Urbana, Ohio.  It was a very cozy sit down place that we automatically felt like we were at home.  With soft music playing in the background, the atmosphere was relaxed and very friendly.  The employees were superb and chatted with each of their customers, us included!
The food is mostly Italian type food
however, there are other types on the menu!

Okay so down to business! First we started
off by enjoying some coffee which was
made very well! I had a Vanilla Cappuccino
and Courty had a Iced Chocolate Latte.
After enjoying our coffee we started in on our meal. *please note that I am a very picky eater so it is very rare that I try different things. This place became the expection.*
OK back to business. Courty got a Italian Panini!
Her review: So, not gonna lie, when I saw the size of the sandwich I was kind of put out.  I was like holy poop! I spent SEVEN DOLLARS on this?! But then I took a bite and fell in love.  It had salami, ham, pepperoni, cheese, to name a few things, on it.  Then it had little veggie fries on the side.  They were crunchy and a flavor I will never forget.  They were a strange flavor, delicious and sweet, yet another flavor I couldn't quite put my finger on.  Finally, the little ball in the small cupcake paper is a granola/peanut butter ball that was UH-MAZING!  I thought that I had died and gone to heaven when I took a bite!! In the end, I ended up being stuffed to the max.  This dish was totally worth the seven dollars that I paid for it and I highly recommend it to anyone! Even Taylor enjoyed it!
I got a Veggie Salad with Chicken.

My review: Oh my goodness, this was so good. I enjoyed it a lot and there was never a moment that lacked lots of flavor! I would definitely recommend it to anyone! It was amazing and I hope that you hope to visit Madison's someday!

Alrighty! So after our meal it was time for dessert of course!(: Okay so what we got an Affogato.
This is a dessert that has a scoop of gelato of your
choice, expresso, and whipped cream.
My review!: Definitely an amazing treat for the average coffee lover! It was amazing but make sure to take small bites and not big gulps!
Courty's review:  Ditto with what Taylor said.  DO NOT TAKE BIG BITES OF THE AFFOGATO! I made that mistake... But in all honesty, this was absolutely delicious.  I typically do not like coffee, but I liked this!

Well, it is time for us to sign off! I hope that you liked our review of Madison's Café! I also hope it is a place that you would like to try in the future because I know they will be seeing my again in the near future! Thanks! I hope you enjoy our blog. If you do please feel free to follow us!
Arrivederci!
Loui and Courty.
P.S. Buongiorno means hello and Arrivederci means goodbye in Italian!
