Life of a College Student..

Being a College Student 101:

Before I came to college I thought that it would be all smiley faces and rainbows. I thought that it would be easy and interesting and one of the most exciting experiences of my life and well...
That's  mostly true!
Me wearing my letters for the first time! Zeta Theta Psi ❤
Although college isn't all of the smiley faces and rainbows that I suspected, it is certainly going great. There are a couple things that I suggest to people coming into college newly either in the Spring Semester or High School Seniors. The first is that when you go to college get involved. There are so many different clubs, organizations, and societies that you can belong to, so try them all! One thing that I will suggest beyond anything is that even if you think you have no interest in Greek life, at least check it out. Looking into what the different sororities/fraternities are about is not a binding magical contract! (**of course harry potter references are the best so I had to add one!) My story is that I had absolutely no interest in Greek Life before I went to college. I saw the movies and how they were betrayed on there, took several steps back and said no way!! But when the first event came up (because at my school we hold recruitment events instead of doing a Rush Week), I decided it was a good idea to go. When I went I almost instantly fell in love! All of the girls that were there were so nice and actually took interest in us girls who decided to attend the event. They all explained who they were, what the sorority stands for, and asked us to help them get to know us. It was awesome and as cliche as it sounds when you find the group that you belong to, you have a moment where you just know. You have a feeling that with that group is where you belong!
As wonderful as Greek Life is, there are many other things that you can get involved in on campus such as intramurals, Student Senate (that is what it is called at my school, it may be different at yours), sports, clubs (some can even pertain to your major!), and other activities through music or acting!
If you are worried about meeting friends, don't be! I met most of the friends I have now either at orientation or through the things that I am involved with on campus. Also make sure that you leave your door open! People in college are friendly and will say hi when they pass by! That is another great way to meet new people! (However don't trust everyone you meet, remember play caution because of stranger danger..be safe!)
c l a s s e s :
Make sure that you attend classes! They are very important to keep track of and slacking behind is a bad path to go down! If you guys need any study tips for your exams or classes in general you can look at my exams post for tips from my friends and I!
Make sure to limit your amount of distractions, eat healthy, and give yourself incentives to keep yourself going!
Alrighty lovelies! that is all I have for you today! Have a wonderful night, stay safe, and keep on being amazing!

HAIR STYLE OF THE DAY!?(:

Good morning, lovelies!! (:

I hope your morning is going amazingly well! Today I am going give you guys a HAIR STYLE OF THE DAY!?(: because I love to try out new hairstyles and keep changing it up to keep things fresh!

The first hair-do is one I did on myself. To do this I kept my bangs out along with a few longer strands to curl. I took my hair from the top of my part and tightly braided it til I got the center back of my head. After this I tied all of my hair into ponytail, and then part my hair just about the pony so that I could flip the pony through the hole. Then I braided my hair is a loose fishtail braid (careful to leave the tail long). After I tied off the braid I took out the pony tail that was holding the top of my hair and pulled on my hair a little to give it a looser look. The pieces I left out I curled and the longer pieces I pinned back just below the braid to give it a sweeping look! And voilĂ !
Alrighty lovely people! That is all for today! Have a wonderful day! (:

How to Conquer Those Winter Chills!

Hey lovelies! Hope you're having a wonderful day! It is a wonderful day here in my warm cuddly dorm until I have to venture back into the cold. Although it is REALLY cold outside, there are some things that I do to say warm!

1. A big fluffy coat is always the best!! I have a parka and it is literally the best invention ever. It keeps me really warm and it has lots of pockets for all my stuff!
2. SCARVES. scarf, sCaRfY scaRf Scarf. I love scarves! They are really fun and easy to find any time and anywhere. They are really helpful when it comes to staying nice and warm and they come in all sorts of different colors and patterns! I am working on making myself a scarf, but crocheting is harder than it looks!!
3. One of my favorite things, other than scarves of course, is coffee! Coffee is awesome and it can help to keep you warm in a cute, trendy travel mug! If you don't like coffee, hot chocolate and tea will do too! (: This is a great way to make sure that your hands keep warm cause those mittens you are wearing may not be thick enough!
4. BoO0Oo0ts! They are your friends, along with their cohorts, boot socks. These are a great combo for a warm winter outfit and cute too!
5. Last but not least, BEANIES! Beanies are awesome and like scarves they come in all shapes, sizes, and colors! They are a great accessory for the winter so that you can keep your head warm out in the snow and wind! (I kind of want to crochet a beanie, but I haven't figured out how to not make them a table doily yet! ha!)
Hope that you enjoyed today's little tips to stay fashionable and warm this winter! Thanks for reading lovelies!

EXAMS D: D: D: BUMM BUMM BUMMMMMMMM!

CHEMISTRY

SPANISH
GOVERNMENT
ACCOUNTING
FRENCH
PRE-CALCULUS
OH, MY!!!

Hallelujah! It's almost winter break. Snowball fights, sledding, and Christmas! (if you celebrate! if you don't that's okay!)  We just cant wait!! But before we get out of this prison sentence called fall semester, we must take exams.   For many, these may be a surprise attack!

SO HERE ARE FIVE TIPS FROM EXPERIENCED EXAM TAKERS!
We asked from some help from our friends! (That actually study) (:
1. Do it in a calm and collected environment to help you concentrate!!  Whether this be in your bedroom, on the front porch, just do it somewhere where your study subject will have your 100% undivided attention! Don't forget to wear comfy clothes too.   You don't want to be worried about nonsense like your clothes at this point in time!!  -Courtyy
2. Make notecards for vocabulary words.  When going through take the ones you didn't know right away, or at all,  and put them to the side. Continue this process until you don't have a "Don't Know" pile.  When you don't have a "Don't Know" pile, then take the entire stack to make sure you know everything for sure. -Taylor
3. Work in small spurts of time and take breaks.  Studying for long periods of time causes strain and makes your study period less effective than studying with short breaks inbetween. -Justin
4. Try and work in an environment with little to no distractions! This way you can't get off task as easily. Also try putting your phone in a place that isn't quite so easy to access like if you are in your room, put it down stairs. Or if you live in a dorm like me and your beds are lofted you could put it down on your desk and work in your bed! -Taylor
5. DON'T WAIT TIL LAST MINUTE TO DO YOUR WORK! Waiting til last minute does not benefit anyone and can actually hurt your grade! So take any time you can to study and keep working at it, it will all be worth it in the end. -Momma Lewis
Alrighty! Well those are our five tips to a good ending of the semester! I hope that you take some of these tips and put them to use and maybe add in some of your own techniques! Leave in the comment section below if you have any good tips you would like to share! Thanks for reading!
