OH, MY!!!

Hallelujah! It's almost winter break. Snowball fights, sledding, and Christmas! (if you celebrate! if you don't that's okay!)  We just cant wait!! But before we get out of this prison sentence called fall semester, we must take exams.   For many, these may be a surprise attack!

SO HERE ARE FIVE TIPS FROM EXPERIENCED EXAM TAKERS!
We asked from some help from our friends! (That actually study) (:
1. Do it in a calm and collected environment to help you concentrate!!  Whether this be in your bedroom, on the front porch, just do it somewhere where your study subject will have your 100% undivided attention! Don't forget to wear comfy clothes too.   You don't want to be worried about nonsense like your clothes at this point in time!!  -Courtyy
2. Make notecards for vocabulary words.  When going through take the ones you didn't know right away, or at all,  and put them to the side. Continue this process until you don't have a "Don't Know" pile.  When you don't have a "Don't Know" pile, then take the entire stack to make sure you know everything for sure. -Taylor
3. Work in small spurts of time and take breaks.  Studying for long periods of time causes strain and makes your study period less effective than studying with short breaks inbetween. -Justin
4. Try and work in an environment with little to no distractions! This way you can't get off task as easily. Also try putting your phone in a place that isn't quite so easy to access like if you are in your room, put it down stairs. Or if you live in a dorm like me and your beds are lofted you could put it down on your desk and work in your bed! -Taylor
5. DON'T WAIT TIL LAST MINUTE TO DO YOUR WORK! Waiting til last minute does not benefit anyone and can actually hurt your grade! So take any time you can to study and keep working at it, it will all be worth it in the end. -Momma Lewis
Alrighty! Well those are our five tips to a good ending of the semester! I hope that you take some of these tips and put them to use and maybe add in some of your own techniques! Leave in the comment section below if you have any good tips you would like to share! Thanks for reading!
xoxo,
Taylor and Courty
